Very beautiful location, the hotel is very cute and authentic, the nature around is just amazing, perfect destination to have a rest on the way to the northern part of Italy. For touring the Greina highlands this place is a must! The host was super friendly and allowed us to keep our luggage at the hotel, as well as our car parked there, as we stayed another night after we came back. We also recieved useful information about our hike. Service was excellent, and we felt very welcome. We would love to return someday.

We were having a familly roadtrip and were looking for a get together place, comfy and quiet. Guess what we found, the best option, a lovely chalet with a lot of charm and space, several bedrooms for a bit of intimacy, nice bathrooms and a charming terrasse, all in simplicity. The access is quite simple and not far away from the main road, the view is amasing, and the village is very calm. We would certainly return! All that without mentioning the hospitality of the owner, that welcomed us warmly and showed the place around, made sure that we had all we needed. We recommend the place 100% and would like to again thank the owner for the amasing stay we had.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They kindly accepted a parcel of dried food for us in advance and even helped us dry our wet tent. We also received extra vegan breakfast options, including vegan Nutella — a lovely touch! The view from La Sctalèta is stunning, and the building itself is truly special: a charming blend of traditional stone grotto and warm, wooden interior. The kitchen was well-equipped, even offering two sizes of Bialetti with fresh ground coffee — perfect for making espresso. Just a heads-up: the accommodation is in the hosts’ garden, so you may encounter their friendly dog and children playing in front of your window. This wasn’t an issue for us at all, and only added to the homely atmosphere.
