Spectacular stay - one of the most magical places I've ever stayed overnight. During my visit, we awoke above the clouds to watch the sunrise, and the experience is simply stunning. The room was perfect - comfortable, clean and more tastefully decorated than other mountaintop hotels I visited in Switzerland. Since all food has to be shipped up to the hotel, the quality of dinner far exceeded my expectations and the dining room is beautiful and classic. Staff agreed to an early check-out to allow me to descend on the first funicular run, which I appreciated.

This was the best 5-star hotel we stayed in and not because of amenities but overall thought that the hotel team had put in the customer experience. Eric at front desk made us so very welcome, I think he is a trainee but did a fabulous job of checking us in. I would say one of the best exp we ever had. Multiple times (including post checkout), we were provided chocolates, muffins and water - all complimentary. They let us extend our checkout without any hassle, in fact kept our luggage post checkout when we had to pick up the car rental. It does not take money to give experiences to the customers, that is what I learnt from this team.

1. The apartment is fully equipped and has everything you need. 2. I did not check the level of cleanliness, but considering that my chronic diseases did not worsen, it was probably very clean. 3. The owner was very polite, kind, friendly and responsive. 4. High-quality, good coffee in abundance! 5. A wonderful view from the window of the mountains and one of the towers of the city wall. 6. The windows have metal roller blinds, which allows you to sleep peacefully in the morning without fear of being awakened by excess light.

The location of the apartment was perfect. So lovely to be in the old town and just a few minutes walk from the train station. The living room was a really great size for a family and the kitchen was very well equipped. Self check in was easy and the apartment was ready for us when we arrived. Overall a really great place to stay.

Our stay at Hotel Anker Luzern was truly the highlight of our Swiss trip! We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a Junior Suite, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with the room. The view of Mount Pilatus right from our window left us in awe. The room itself was huge, incredibly comfortable, and beautifully designed – it felt like a luxury retreat. The staff was outstanding, offering exceptional service and making us feel right at home. And then, there was the breakfast – by far the best buffet breakfast we had in Switzerland! The variety, quality, and freshness were top-notch. It was a great way to start the day. We only wished we could stay longer – our time here created unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lucerne!

Well, Facilities in Kitchen and all in the bathroom and bedroom, the room is under the roof, but so comfortable to sleep and open the windows for air, however, some of the smoke from smoker downstairs, but we can close the windows instead. The elevator is very helpful for 4 x 20-25 Kg Baggage. The location is close to the canal and bridge. just walk through the restaurant downstairs. A plate washer and microwave is a good facilities for living here.

    We were a family of six whose needs were well-accommodated by the hotel staff. We were able to check in early after a long, exhausting travel from California. Breakfast was good. There was no AC, but there was a fan provided in each room. The staff is very nice. The location is ideal for sightseeing around Lucerne.

    Staff is very friendly and hospitable. Rooms are very clean.We had both rooms beside. Rooms were with Balcony with a very charming view. Location is best. Lucerne is near with car or with train. Highly recommend for your enjoyable trip to switzerland.

    Everything was perfect! Beautiful antique hotel! The host were really great and kind and they provided us with everything we needed. Even helped set a table for us on the terrace to relax and chill. Location is perfect as it’s close to the train station.
