The location was great, right near the hostel there is a bus stop, and the bus goes directly from/to the main railway station. My main destination was Rheinfall Waterfall, and I traveled with only one bus there and back. Breakfast was amazing, with very fresh bread, and a great choice buffet.

This hotel is in a historic building, dating from the 15th Century but well renovated. The staff members, Alicia, Marco and William were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. A short walk took us to Santa Lucia Plaza where there are restaurants and pubs, and local people gatheear. It was fun interacting with them. A short walk further was a chocolate shop. Great neighborhood. Also, a convenient location from which to take a trip to beautiful Rhein Fall. I highly recommend the hotel. Breakfast was excellent

    The cheerful and competent staff made us feel right at home (including even a drink on the house). The room was spartan, but functional. The in-room refrigerator was a nice touch. Beds surprisingly comfortable. No air conditioning, but open windows helped. Breakfast decent, and a good value. Location convenient. Some travelers might enjoy the lively bar downstairs.
