Location is great, just 15 minutes walk to Opera House, plus a tram station is almost right in front of it. Speaking of location, don't miss the botanical gardens of University of Zurich, just 5 mins walk. It is a hidden gem, I've added a picture of the place. While planning our stay, I realized most hotels are really small and I was looking for a place that was at least comfortably large. This place exceeded our expectations in terms size and abundance of drawers and closets. The blinds make it totally dark, which is how we like to sleep. The neighborhood is quiet, flat is clean and the bathroom was big and had all the space my wife needed for the load of personal care items we have with us. The staff was very helpful.

Excellent hotel, gorgeous views, food was amazing. Rooms were lovely, we were woken by the beautiful sunrise over the lake Zurich, which was amazing. Train station is across the road, however trains run so quietly that there was no noise at all. Train to city centre is 11min, airport less than 30 min, it made the travel effortless and very pleasant.

The entire place was fantastic. The closeness to the train terminal literally 1 minute walk, the check-in to the hotel, the staff were sweet & friendly and inviting (compliments to Christine and the team), also the food was delicious - great breakfast and lastly, the rooms were just world class. Sad that we weren't able to book the lake view room but despite that, the room was just fantastic. Compliments to Nicole, Christine and the team. We just love your hotel and we were honored to spend new years 2025 with you all at the Yarn! Hope we can join some form of loyalty club for the hotel to always stay here. One of the best hotel experiences, my wife and I have ever had. Thank you all.

Very friendly owners & staff. They made us feel at home from the moment we entered. We loved our room with beautiful classic touches. The bed was super comfortable and the room has a Nespresso machine, which we like for our morning coffee. The restaurant is superbe; very much recommended (also with a few delicious vegetarian & vegan options). Breakfast was indulging. Compliments to the Chef and his/her team ♥️ Ambiance is great! Lots of eye for detail and subtle touches of romance every where. We were here in wintertime, which is very cosy and for sure summertime here must be wonderful too, with the lake only a few steps away (3-5 minute walk). Made our morning walk before breakfast and enjoyed the views and crispy air in the early morning sun. We are looking forward to come back soon!
