We're a family of 4. Stayed one night and regret that we didn't stay longer. Pros: - The hotel is fully renovated with very modern room & facilities while conserving the classic and historic feeling of original site & surroundings. - room was spacious, and the interior was very nice with good lighting conditions. - view was a bit limited lake view due to the original building structure, but maybe in another room, it should have a great lake view, as the hotel stood on the hill over the lake. - had a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel restaurant and food was very nice with at least one star quality, and people there provided really attentive and kind service. - They have dedicated, large size parking building (with a fee) Cons - It's actually a little far from Lugano center, but I knew it and it was not my problem. All in all, it is a much more modern and classy hotel than expected, and I would definitely stay here if I visit Lugano again.

Everything was amazing. Our hosts were very friendly and kind. Beautiful and clean room with a great terrace. Homemade confiture that was served with breakfast from fruit grown on the property was the best I’ve ever had.

Great welcome from the hosts and they made it possible to make a very late check in. Lovely breakfast from the lovely staff. The rooms are really comfortable and clean. It was a very short stay for us but we would like to come back again to discover and enjoy more ☺️

I stayed at Sebastiano's apartment for work and my family joined me to visit Lugano. The apartment was perfect for our stay. Very clear instructions about check-in, key for the apartment, parking spot available on site. The apartment was very clean. It offers a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom amenities. We felt at home immediately. The apartment is located very close to Lugano train station and the city centre. You can reach everything withing walking distance. The building and surroundings are very quiet. Sebastiano was always available and answered our questions immediately. Definitely recommend this place for work trip and/or family vacation trip.

What a truly special place. They have thought of every detail! Beds very comfortable and rooms really clean, and the spot is magical. Love all the common areas outside the rooms and so nice how they have laid out books and games and all. Breakfast was delicious - esp the homemade jams and homemade granola. Location is brilliant for hiking. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often.

    Beautifully located in a small village of Malcantone, not far from Ponte Tresa. The view towards Italy is like a view from a jungle lodge. Part of the complex is designed as a Roman villa. The bungalows are in Spanish style. From simply furnished to very good. The food is very tasty. A short hour walk away is the only gold mine in Switzerland, which you can visit. Pure relaxation.
