We went for hiking nearby, so we wanted a hotel that is comfortable but not fancy because we will only sleep there. The hotel was very clean, well maintained, and quiet, meeting all our need. Staffs are very friendly. Restaurant was great. Food are quite nice. They seem to specialize on cordon bleu because one third of the menu is dedicated to different variation of cordon bleu (made my partner very happy).

I couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Gilbert's place! The apartment was immaculate and beautifully decorated, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was ideal—close to everything I wanted to explore, yet peaceful and relaxing.     Spacious, location was close to Central Visp. Plenty of amenities available, and host was very helpful with being flexible with check-in time, as well as assisting us with a drying rack for our clothes. Would highly recommend, and was excellent value for money.

    Extremely convenient location to move with public transport basically in the entire canton. Recently renovated, clean, and modern. The staff were helpful and polite. Rich breakfast buffet and possibility of eating it on a terrace.

    Location: ideally situated close to transit links (train, bus) as well as supermarkets, shops & restaurants. Modern and clean facilities: no frills, but everything you need Friendly but unobtrusive staff I had the unexpected bonus of a free room upgrade upon arrival, which was very appreciated! The premium double room has a huge balcony with views over the city and the mountains beyond.
