The staff were exceptional. Gave us lots of advice, and also a membership card to the art gallery. The room was lovely and has recently been refurbished, we were given an upgrade, but the receptionist team could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was very good, continental selection as standard, but still very good. My husband also particularly liked their homemade yoghurt for breakfast. The location was great, easy to find and quite close to the main station, only 2 or 3 minute walk from the old town where the shops and restaurants are.

One can deconstruct a hotel room into various aspects: location, breakfast, staff, room, etc. But Hotel Seidenhof got all of it and in the best way possible. It is the perfect spot surrounded by various cafes, top-notch breakfasts literally in the restaurant format, staff was extremely friendly, like they never have a bad day, and OTT rooms with everything you need (but Haribos are not for free).

This apartment is perfect! One of the best we've ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, spacious and so well equipped that we were amazed.     Great location, really friendly staff. We could walk everywhere in the city centre and would only take us a maximum of 15 minutes to walk back. We came with our dog and this hotel is truly dog friendly, not just a place where your dog is basically only allowed to quietly exist, like she was allowed to join us for breakfast which is really not that common.

    Small but comfortable apartments with everything you need for a short stay. A good location on Albertstrasse in a cozy part of the city, within walking distance to the center (about 20 minutes). A big plus is that the apartments are pet-friendly, we were vacationing with a small dog and it was a great solution. For accommodation with an animal, you need to deposit 500 francs, which was then returned to us without any problems. The managers were always in touch and answered our questions quickly enough.

    Breakfast started very early, which was great if you have an early train to catch! Bed was comfortable! I really appreciated all the digital / no contact check in and check out. The staff though did actively help out though, very friendly. The Wifi worked well in half of the room. Pet friendly! I think our dog enjoyed the stay too, after a thunderstorm.

    Perfect location (nearby Hallenstadion and a large shopping mall) Management and staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful (the main reason for the score 10) Pet friendly accomodation and we got a discount (2 small dogs for the fee of 1) Because of the short stay, the manager offered free parking on site just before I paid it
