Lovely comfortable place close to both the airport and the centre of Alajuela. There is a supermarket 2 minutes away and a bus stop to get to San Jose is even closer. The casita has plenty of room and all the amenities you could need. The owner was very kind and helpful with advice about onward travel.

    Lovely rooms in a very scenic setting, with humming birds and nice gardens. Margarita has some very friendly dogs who were happy for our children to pet them. Breakfast was really tasty.

    The location was ideal for the airport, it was easy to get to at night. The pool and breakfast area are beautiful, a wonderful place to start or finish a trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel dog was gorgeous! The beds were comfortable and it was all clean. The breakfast was delicious, overall great value and an enjoyable stay!

    Very nice and friendly family - great hosts. Accomodated our needs. They also have friendly pets! My 11 year old daughter liked playing with their kids and their cat and dogs. They arraged a drive from and to the airport for us.

    Very nice place to spend the night prior to flying, nice staff, you can do 4kg of laundry for 10usd on site (wash and dry), they organized a 7usd taxi to airport for me in the morning. I had some fruit for breakfast as I was leaving before official breakfast hours. The garden is nice and there is a nice cat on the property as well. I saw someone traveling with a dog (pet-friendly).
