Had such a lovely stay here. The perfect place to relax and view the incredible Osa peninsula. The pool was magic! The food was also delicious (and is included). We even had a little plunge pool. Staff all lovely.

I was lucky enough to be one of the first guests at El Cerrito and I had the most amazing time there. Lis and Dan were so welcoming and the cabin was really comfortable and peaceful, exactly what I was looking for. I saw all kinds of wildlife there - monkeys, tucans, macaws, iguanas, frogs, humming birds, butterflies and sloths. It really felt like being in the jungle but with all the comforts of home. I was originally planning on doing a tour in Corcovado but I ended up doing a tour here with local guides instead and I'm so happy that I did. I got to see so many animals at a fraction of the price of what I would have paid at Corcovado. I will definitely be coming back here again in the future!

The best place we stayed in Costa Rica. Dario and Frederica have set up something special here in Dos Brazos, near the Corcovado National Park. Set in the heart of the jungle, in a lovely small Gold Mining village this beautiful guest house is a fantastic place to stay. Great welcome, the most comfortable bed, shower and space of our trip so far. A lovely fresh breakfast, great self catering facilities (but Frederica is a chef and will cook your dinner). Watching the jungle birds from their deck was a true joy. They went out of their way to book us a guide for a day exploring the jungle - a shout out to Jose who was a brilliant tour guide to the jungle. He grew up in the village, was fantastically knowledgeable about animals, history and Costa Rican life. Speaking excellent English. He is also a great artist - get him to show you the furniture he makes. Dos Brazos is also worth a mention such a lovely little village, the residents there welcomed guests so warmly, everyone we met had a smile and hola. Try the homemade ice creams advertised from small house! Perfect treat after a hot walk. La Casita means little house, but this is a little house with a big heart thanks to Dario and Frederica’s love and attention to detail. Miah's house is an excellent place to stay in Puerto Jiminez. It is within 5 minutes walking distance from the main road in the town, and surrounded by a lush green garden. The house was big and spotless, with an equipped kitchen, living room, dining table and huge bedroom. The entire upstairs floor is surrounded by a deck, so you can sit and observe the numerous wild animals and birds passing through the garden. The host had decorated the place with fresh cut flowers, and we wish we could have stayed longer. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and would definitely recommend it.

Los Mineros Guesthouse features a fitness centre, open-air bath, a garden and bar in Dos Brazos. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

I really liked this place. The environment, contact with nature and Channy's attention. I recommend taking the tours they offer, you won't regret it. Overall it was a fantastic experience. We cannot forget that we are in the jungle and don't have the comfort of a hotel and.. many good things are happening :)
