Perfect location on the main square of this delightful town. Room and bath were first rate and spacious and clean. Restaurant was fabulous and had a variety dishes including some exotic ones. Staff were very kind and helpful, I would come back!

Absolutely fantastic stay. We had an exceptional stay, with a special shout out to Alex. Every morning, we had a delightful breakfast conversation with many insights, tips, and historical information from someone passionate about this wonderful region in Germany. The hotel is still partially under renovation, so it is a work in progress, but it still was a wonderful regional experience with staff that treated us as family.

    The location is great, not far from the center and from the city center. The living room is spacious and luminous, we really enjoyed the massage chair and the sauna. Kudos for the possibility to travel with the dog.

    Great location right next to forest with lots of beautiful paths leading to the amazing castle, and it is the perfect place for travellers with dogs. At the same time, it is just a 10 minutes walk to the old town which is definitely worth seeing. We liked the spacious rooms in loft style and wooden floor, comfortable beds, nice building with historical atmosphere, tasty breakfast with good coffee. There was a selection of tea and coffee in the room. Free and safe parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Thank you for the stay.

    The property is superbly located in a quiet road with a supermarket and petrol station nearby, a 10 minute drive to the historic town centre and with views of the castle and The Brocken. It is well equipped with very comfortable beds, an excellent kitchenette and a substantial bathroom with a really good shower. Herr Rummert, the owner, was particularly friendly and helpful, even though I arrived late and then booked an extra day with the wrong date - many thanks again!

    Perfect location with the forest in the backyard and a short drive to Wernigerode. We really felt at home in the lovely apartment with very comfortable beds and an amazing bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was functionally and clean. Our dog was welcome and could run around in the fenced garden. The hostess was very nice and helpful. We will come back to this lovely place.
