Jaydee’s is a true Fijian homestay experience – you’re staying with a local family in their home - the facilities are simple but clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. What makes it truly special is the family, who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The warmth and hospitality of the family was the highlight. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, especially the grandmother, who radiates love and generosity. Staying here feels like being part of the family, and it’s a privilege to share in their home and culture. Breakfast was tasty, served with warmth and generosity – the perfect start to the day. And we had the yummiest dinner, made with love and care by the grandmother of the house. It was our favourite dinner of our trip! The location is great for exploring Taveuni. It’s peaceful and feels authentically local, while still being convenient for getting around the island. Just remember, you're at the top of the Island so if you're looking to get around lots, consider hiring a car. We used the local bus service and it was great, but it's not the most regular of service. (enjoy Fiji time!!) Mostly, we had a blast getting around walking which built up an appetite :) Reach out and ask the family when you book if you need help getting around, they're more than happy to help sort out local transportation. Honestly, the only thing we wish is that we had found Jaydee’s earlier and stayed longer! It was the most wonderful stay and the most amazing memories. We can not recommend it enough!! Food was incredibly good and catered well for vegetarian. Warm, genuine hosts. Amazing view.

Breakfast was exceptional every day something new every morning and even dinner. Location was very close to the airport and hosts were very friendly helpful and we were treated like families. Vina'a Master Sam Sera and family not forgetting our driver Naita Dreu.

Food was made with heart ❤️ The staff were amazing and felt like sisters. Was given an upgrade 😊

The snorkelling out the back of the hotel was lovely. There was a large staff to customer ratio which meant there was always someone to help you. Lots of lovely plants at the hotel and the rooms were nice. Free water refills is always appreciated.

The caretakers were awesome. It was easy to organise everything through the owner. Diving and snorkeling next door. Great kitchen set up. Insane views! Comfortable bed and living space . So peaceful and private.
