Philippe's House and attentiveness were simply lovely! He and his wife made of our stay such an amazing experience. They even received me with a birthday present 😍. He was all the time available to fulfill our requests, for example when we wanted to grill They also produce champagne and leave you some bottles on site that you can consume and pay by check out, tasty and with very good prices. The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and near the river. We did day trips to Eperney (around 30 min by car) and Reims (about 45 min) everything went very smooth. Kitchen is fully equipped, the ping pong table and other games were a plus. The house is super spacious, we were 8 person in total and we were really comfortable. Our group of 7 guests and 4 pugs had an exceptional stay at Gîte La Villa Marcelle. We loved the beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished villa, which offered a perfect blend of modern comfort and charm. The kitchen was well-equipped which allowed us to have delicious family breakfasts and dinners. We were also provided with various coffee options, including filter and capsule machines, which we thoroughly appreciated. The hosts welcomed us warmly with champagne from their family’s vineyard and a delicious home-baked cake, making us feel truly special. Additionally, the lovely enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs to roam safely, and the provided water bowl and poo bags were a considerate touch. The hosts were flexible and accommodating with our check-in and check-out arrangements, and there was ample parking for our two vehicles. Communication was easy with the hosts and we would gladly return to this wonderful retreat.
