I will look back on this little getaway very fondly! The surroundings were gorgeous, the location perfect for little daily trips - so much to see. A short drive from beaches and forests. Already dreaming about the next time we get to stay there.

We checked in later than expected and were met met by very friendly staff that checked us in and showed us to our room. We were very happy with the room from the moment we stepped through the door. It was clean tidy and well laid out with and amazing bathroom. We were visiting from New Zealand to meet family and the staff even gave us 30 minutes or so after close to keep talking as it was only visit for ten years, thank you to all the staff, and thanks to the chef for lovely meals in the evening. Brealfast the following day was also excellent and again served with a smile from the fabulous staff, Myself and my daughter loved the stay.

Very friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. We felt very welcome. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The food at the pub was delicious. Even a simple starter like loaded nachos or the Eggs Benedict for breakfast tasted fresh and flavoursome. We are hoping to come back soon 😀

The cabin was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. It’s dog friendly so our dog was happy and enjoyed laying on the deck in the sun. The bedrooms are beautiful, beds comfy with attractive bedding. Loved the artwork! Bathroom is gorgeous with a rainfall shower. Garden with lots of lovely plants and shrubs. Fully enclosed, so safe for dogs. Large hot tub - so relaxing. Able to sit outside and watch the horses run past. Beautiful setting, quiet and full of the sounds of nature.

    Great location and truly dog friendly! The staff were fantastic, great food, treats for the dogs and the garden backs onto a sports field so perfect for walking the dogs. The Nepalese menu and a normal pub menu gives a great choice of food. Great value for money for the room including a cooked breakfast.

    All the Staff were very welcoming ,helpful and friendly. Food was great especially the Nepalese dinner we had one night. Comfortable room and very dog friendly which is always a bonus for us when travelling . (Plus the field to the side was handy for dog walking). We really enjoyed our stay .

    Great out buildings at the back of the pub, with its very own private patio area and large hot tub, just outside your gate is 2 very spacious pub gardens with eating areas.Very dog friendly and great staff, location for the New Forrest is superb.

    Loved the cottage, very well equipped and beds were spotlessly clean. Dinner was great, service really quick and food was plentiful. Lovely staff exceedingly friendly. Breakfast in the morning was good quality, piping hot and again plentiful. Loved the fact that there were no restrictions on dogs this place is super human and dog friendly and will definitely go back. Lots of lovely little extra touches, board games and books. Could easily have stayed longer especially given the location so much to do in the area.

    Lodge was a decent size, outdoor furniture and lovely site. Beds and pillows not particularly comfortable. Sofa and carpet looked like it could have done with a hoover, dog hairs on sofa on arrival (dog friendly accommodation). Kitchen facilities good and clean. Site was clean and tidy. Lovely field area to exercise your dog along with the delightful walks from the park into the surrounding forest.
