From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The proprietors were very personable and just so easy to chat with. Food was top notch, classic English fare and absolutely delicious, we had dinner there three evenings. Completly cosy and just easy to be there.

Relaxed atmosphere, great value, delicious biscuits on arrival. We were running late the first day but were able to call Julie and let her know. She was so kind and helpful and took away the stress of being late. She recommended a local pub so we could eat before we arrived which was one of the best we have been to. The room was upstairs and the bathroom was basic but perfectly adequate with plentiful bathroom products. A very comfortable stay.

The staff at the Inn were very friendly and made it a welcoming environment on arrival. It was cosy, comfortable and well located (not too far from Dartmoor National Park) in a beautiful area . It was convenient to have access to the restaurant (worth booking a dinner reservation in advance as advised). Parking was readily available (paid lot across the road if you don’t want to park in the street). The complimentary breakfast was a nice addition. Our room was well represented by the photos.

    Really lovely property and size. Had everything we needed including a log burning stove. Bonus was the new lambs in the field out of the windows which we could have watched for ages! Also incredibly dog friendly. Had a lovely welcome hamper for humans but also a dog welcome treat bag. All topped off my lovely hosts who were incredibly friendly

    The barn is truly dog friendly, which we really appreciated. There were two bowls and a towel waiting for us, as well as a small bag of treats and a dog bed. There is a nice secure outdoor area in front of the barn for the dog to run around. The living area is really pretty, with a log burner and a nice sofa. The bed was super comfy.

    Beautiful village location. We stayed in the coach house which was pet friendly- we had dog beds, dog bowls, comp dog food, dog poo bags and dog biscuits in our lovely room. Dog towels and dog hose were available in the coach house foyer. Dinner service was lovely, super friendly and food delicious- breakfast of same high standard. Staff were so helpful in telling us about local area for dog walks - will definitely return. Love this place and the attention to detail
