We had a lovely 2 night break in the Narrow Escape, it was wonderful. Everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well equipped, the sofa bed was so much more comfortable than we expected and the log burner is sooooo lovely.

Beautiful old place, fabulously done up. This is a really generous place - rare in British hotels. Lots of space, acres of pillows and linen, nice coffee and tea, dinky little milk bottles and a free nightcap. Great pub food, and a sumptuous breakfast. Sets the bar for excellence at this price.
