We only spent a night but I wish it could have been a week! Special mention and thank to the lady keeping the house, she is absolutely lovely! They were flexible with the time which we appreciated. It is a real house, with also is their own decoration and stuff, so that it is a real immersion in the local culture. You have all the upper house for you; and mostly the view from the balcony is just amazing! It is like 15 min from the port with small street and stairs so be ready (don't plan too much bags). And like 10 min from the beach Castello. So that it is just in the middle. There is a nice restaurant just down which is convenient. I recommend!

Friendly attentive staff. Had thought of little extra details that make a stay feel special. Terms were clean, modern and well equipped. Boat taxi between the bay and Hydra ran late and often. Overall couldn’t recommend this place more for a relaxing holiday!

The room was small but very cozy and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials. The host was incredibly kind and attentive — thank you for the warm hospitality! Tatiana and Grigorios were wonderful hosts. The room was perfectly furnished and had a fun location right on the harbor with a small balcony where we drank coffee in the mornings and watched the boats coming and going down below. We had a marvelous time here and would happily stay at Estia again in the future. Highly recommended.

Our experience at Upper Hydra was excellent. The host was amazing and took great care of us. The room was spacious and comfortable. The weather was chilly so we spent a lot of time at Isola's Cafe on the main level of the building- also great. I highly recommend Upper Hydra and look forward to going back.
