Peaceful, tranquil and stunning. Everything was created around nature. The food at the restaurant was exceptional. Was everything we needed after some weeks in busy Bali! The staff were very friendly and we’re also very accommodating; fitting us in for a last minute massage. During dinner they also had traditional Balinese instruments playing

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa in Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa itself is a stunning blend of traditional Balinese design and modern comfort, creating a serene oasis that truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail, from the luxurious amenities to the breathtaking views, was meticulously crafted to enhance the stay. The staff at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa were exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel incredibly welcome and well cared for throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and provided invaluable local insights that enriched my trip. The surrounding area is just as impressive, offering a perfect mix of natural beauty and tranquility. Whether enjoying a quiet moment in the lush gardens or exploring the vibrant local culture, every moment was filled with delight. Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa is truly a gem in Bali, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Extremely beautiful landscape, no crowds and good food with vegetarian options. Lovely and very well caring hosts, with whom you can have very nice chats. The facilities are designed well to enhance the immersion in nature. Unlike the artificial feel of white painted walls and ceramic, you have the wood and stone; plus open bathroom to feel the forest. I would definitely come again whenever I can visit Bali.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is beautifully designed and inviting. If you are looking to unwind in a peaceful setting in nature, this is the place. I think my favourite part of our stay is the location/views that overlook endless rice paddies. A really special find and will come back another time. The staff was very kind and helpful. Perfect weekend trip with my partner and our two dogs.

This is such a peaceful place to stay. I enjoyed listening to the birds, frogs and the stream. The interior is a very simple, traditional style. I slept very soundly here!

This is an ideal escape into the the mountains and into nature. The location allows for plenty of walking in the forests, farm lands and surrounding area. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Staff went out of their way to make our stay the escape it was. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was home prepared fresh and plentiful. By arrangement other freshly prepared meals were available. Great local coffee shop a short walk away. Look forward to returning.

It was in the heart of a jungle so it really gave me the quiet and tranquil retreat I was looking for. Loved everything about it! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful!

    The Eco Lodge is in a pretty and remote location on the slopes of Batukaru volcano. The cottages are dotted around lush gardens growing fruit and herbs. Our cottage had a shady terrace to relax on. There’s a really excellent restaurant serving local specialities, a freshwater swimming pool and some comfy places to sit. From the lodge there are excellent guided walks into the plantations, rainforest and temples.
