I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa in Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa itself is a stunning blend of traditional Balinese design and modern comfort, creating a serene oasis that truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail, from the luxurious amenities to the breathtaking views, was meticulously crafted to enhance the stay. The staff at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa were exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel incredibly welcome and well cared for throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and provided invaluable local insights that enriched my trip. The surrounding area is just as impressive, offering a perfect mix of natural beauty and tranquility. Whether enjoying a quiet moment in the lush gardens or exploring the vibrant local culture, every moment was filled with delight. A very warm and welcoming homestay where you truly feel like part of the family. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with cozy beds, a hot shower, and a lovely semi-open bathroom. The food is delicious, made from fresh local ingredients. Putu and his family greet you with genuine warmth and hospitality. *Long review* We've stayed here for 2 weeks, and it just cant get boring. It is at the most pristine location you could imagine, Inside the jungle (with all thr pros and cons). I strongly advise you to spend at least 3 4 days here and rent a motorbike. Exploring these fabulous mountain roads is an experience in itself as well, but it has a lot more to offer. From waterfalls to temples to warungsamd what more.. The scenery is absolutely unmatched by anything that a large city can offer. It is relatively close to the tourist attractions (with bike, at least). The people in the local villages are still honest and kinde, dont want to rip you off and willing to help selflessly. If you can, choose the bungallow instead of the tower from the accomodations, it is more spacious. The hosts ( Mr.Adii and his Cousine) are fare beyond anything you knew about a good host. Their hospitality is endless, and they are willing to bring down the stars for you if you ask them to do so. From preparing bonfire, harvesting snakefruit, making delicious dishes, they are willing to make anything for you. They also can offer unique local sights to see.( sing sing aguing or Tibu Sampi waterfalls, ricefields etc.) I strongly recommend that if you stay here, to try out - beside the splendid breakfasts - mr.Adii's dinner. He is a really good chef, and flabbergastingly cheap. (The hot chocholate is a must have). All in all, i Strongly recommend this accomodation, you will not be dissappointed.

    The Eco Lodge is in a pretty and remote location on the slopes of Batukaru volcano. The cottages are dotted around lush gardens growing fruit and herbs. Our cottage had a shady terrace to relax on. There’s a really excellent restaurant serving local specialities, a freshwater swimming pool and some comfy places to sit. From the lodge there are excellent guided walks into the plantations, rainforest and temples.
