Good place to stay peacefully for you to reenergize. Vagamon is 1 hour away from here. The route from mundakayam to the stay via poonjar is too good for a car ride. Can accommodate 2 families comfortably.

The surrounding view of the tea estate and the mountains were mesmerizing. Rooms were very clean and neat.This homestay is a perfect place to relax and unwind, surrounded by peaceful nature, we loved waking up to the sounds of nature. The traditional swing in the property was very nostalgic. The price was very reasonable for the quality of accommodation provided.

We had an overall amazing experience staying at this property! In comparison to many private pool villas I’ve visited, this one is large and very satisfying. The pool is spacious enough for the kids to swim some real distance, which was a highlight for our family. The power interruption my delay the cleaning of the pool but otherwise the back-up power is sufficient for all other conviniences.(necessary lighting, pedestial fan, charger etc) Manu, the caretaker was extremely helpful. While we were a little disappointed for not being able to use the pool as we checked-in (bcoz of power issues) but he guided us to a nearby mountain stream at a walkable distance. It was a peaceful spot with no crowds, perfect for a relaxing dip and some photos. The view from the pool was relaxing, with the possibility of catching a beautiful sunrise if the weather permits. Also, the Palozhukkumpara viewpoint is just a short walk away—a brisk morning walk to catch the views, and again, no crowds! The food options are somewhat limited at the moment, but I believe this will improve over time as the property develops. For the evening snacks we ordered 2 coffees,1 tea,1 cup of milk, and 8 bread omelettes—which were all delicious. For dinner, we had chapathi, egg curry, fried rice, and vegetable curry, and all the dishes were full of flavour. While I’m not sure if it was worth 2k but the it was definitely tasty and nice. The breakfast, which was included in the plan, was also quite nice. It included watermelon slices, egg curry, appam, cornflakes, milk, tea, and coffee. The rooms were spacious and completely wooden. The Wi-Fi/mob n/w was a bit weak but its safe around there. Overall it was a fantastic stay. I will try to put a detailed review on google.

I have been to so many places in India, but this one was the best I have been so far! I didn't look very good when I did the booking, but when I arrived and noticed that I had the whole property to myself I was amazed. Such a lovely home (old house of the family), it looked like a fairytale. Everything was clean, loved the location and the breakfast that was made by Aji's wife and mother tasted delicious. It is in the middle of nowhere between the plantations, the whole day you hear so many birds. This was the perfect place for me to reset after one month India, I've done a lot of meditation and yoga (On my rock 😉) Now I'm totally recharged for the next two months. Apka koti koti dhanyavad 🙏

Good service, neat and clean, suppprting staff, super food

Nice individual property enough for one family or group of 6 to 8 peoples. 450 m near to vagamon town. Just 1 day stay feels like staying in own home.budget friendly. Got an individual parking infront of house but the way is little bit congested, however we parked our compact suv Kiger. Highly recommended for group of people or 6 member family who wishes calm and budget friendly stay.

The natural pool is great and the coffee.

The staff was very friendly and available on call for any needs. The villas were spacious, beautiful and clean with an amazing view from the balcony. It worked out perfectly for our family visit. Food is ordered from outside. If you wish to cook, you can bring whatever is needed/electric cooker etc. The staff brought us an induction stove upon request too. A swimming pool is under construction, which would be super cool. Recommend this place. I’ll be staying again
