Sri Balaji Grand is an amazing and very convenient place to stay in Kumbakonam! The location is great – barely a minute walk to the temples - and my room was very spacious and comfortable, with great AC and Wifi, hot water and a big balcony with a view on the temples. They also provide water bottles, and the restaurant downstairs is a convenient place to eat. Staff members are very helpful and they helped me book a cab to visit Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple. There are ATMs and plenty of autorickshaws near the hotel, wand you may also pay by credit card (international or local). I would absolutely recommend it and stay there again!

Breakfast place was just a few meters away from the property. The climate was very pleasant. If you are a vegetarian it is a few meters away. The house was spacious and independent. We carried our own rice cooker and cooked rice for our pets. There was fridge that was very helpful to make ice and keep the peanut curd that we carried for our dogs. If you are here to visit temples there is a huge temple just opposite to the property. Overall the property was a great place to stay.
