My first experience along with my family here was awesome. It’s a good old British Bunglow maintained clean and neat. Nice homely feeling and very friendly staff who took care of us really well. Location was good, very close to city but away from city buzz.. it was simple homely food, they don't hesitate to cook whatever you ask for. Overall an excellent experience. Night time Bon fire and barbique made our day. Thanks to Dinesh and the caretaker, for making our trip a memorable one. Hope to meet you ppl soon again on December. I will strongly recommend this place to all.

One of the best stay we ever had. An ideal location for someone who look for a peaceful time and to enjoy nature. View from the property is amazing. Apart from that , it’s new and a neat and clean property. Above all Mr. Sudhakar the Host is just an amazing person who is very friendly and very supportive. Overall, it’s a perfect blend of comfort and happiness…! Thanks to The Plum Castle and its staff for making our stay memorable one.

Really liked the hospitality at the place and the maintenance

Rooms were neat clean and the homemade food was very tasty. They made as per our requirement. The property owner Vinodh was very kind enough to help us when we lost the route. He is very polite and friendly.

The hostel/dom setup of bunk beds is a good setup. The mattress and sheets are warm and clean, the premises were also clean and beautiful. Overall the hospitality of the owner and his staff is also very appealing and welcoming. No rude encounters, the staff is ready to help you with any inquires you may have. Especially the owners themselves are especially helpful, he being well conversant with Malyalam and English languages it is of great help for guest like me whose knowledge of the Malyalam language is nil. Than also the breakfast provided in the stay package is excellent apparently the cook on site is a MasterChef atleast I felt so. The hands-on approach of the owner and his staff, giving each guest his time and help whenever asked for gives you a resort like experience at a dom price when I especially took advantage of. Than the location of the stay is very convenient for budget backpackers and also thos ready to spend more, the major points and tourist destinations are easily accessible from here either with your own transport or public transport. The BBQ nights are legendary here do ask for BBQ arrangements when you stay here worth it, than the camp fire and the talks around the fire can get very interesting and informative. Than the view from the stay is beautiful. Birds singing early morning and sometimes all day long. Finally for those wanting to work remotely the wifi here is free and excellent with out side seating with charging points. Therefore overall I was extremely pleased with the Rave Raja hostel the owners personal attention and that of his staff. Do visit. Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Mountain Retreat in Kodai, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. The standout feature was the breathtaking view of Kodai Lake.The food was outstanding, with every meal tasting fresh and full of flavor. The property itself exuded peace and tranquility, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. It was the ideal mix of comfort, stunning scenery, and warm hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Kodaikanal!
