Staying with Firdoz in his house boat was one of the best experiences I've had traveling, and not only in India. Every night we sat on the porch of the boat, hanging out and talking about life. Firdoz arranged a boat to take us through the Dal Lake for an entire day, which we spent fishing, swimming, and sightseeing. Every night I was presented an amazing dinner; Firdoz and his wife worked hard to cook something new for me every night. I was treated like family, and like an honored guest. Besides the house boat, Srinagar is an amazing place. There's a lot of interesting history, unique architecture, and some of the friendliest people I've ever encountered. The monuments of the old city and Mughal gardens are constantly set in relief against a background of huge, green mountains. I really had an unforgettable experience in Srinagar and the biggest part of that was staying here. Thank you Firdoz - can't wait to come back again in the future!

The owner of this property Mr Sadat is such a great help. Although I booked my room only a day prior to my visit, he somehow arranged rooms at his property for another 4 nights and also arranged all the tours and transfers for us on such short notice.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel itself was excellent clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. But what truly made the experience special were Showkat and Nadeem. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Serenity Inn Homestay near Dal Lake, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the warm and friendly family who run the homestay. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, bringing me lots of hot water and constantly checking that I was warm and had everything I needed. The room was clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a little getaway near the lake. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Dal Lake, making it easy to explore the area. Despite the chilly and rainy weather, I felt cared for every step of the way. The family’s hospitality truly shone through when the brother kindly dropped me off at the airport, braving the rain and cold. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Serenity Inn. It felt like a home away from home, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay in Srinagar.

Superb property - very neat and very very clean. On a serious note i really don’t like to spend many days at one location due to untidy spaces but trust me this places was super clean and beds and pillows were super clean. No shoes were allowed inside the property and the breakfast was just awesome. Aashiq was equally an awesome and super supporting guy. Do meet him once you are there
