Binu and his family are gracious, warm and very friendly hosts. The homestay is in a perfect location, safe, clean and luxurious. The house offers a large, private, accommodation area on the first floor, is very beautiful and provides an authentic and local experience with a wonderful garden in front. Delicious meals and other local fruits etc can be ordered from the in-house cook who is very helpful to make it a comfortable stay. The property is located in Viakom which is very close to Allepey and is also perfect for a workation. I recommend including a visit to Viakom in your Kerala itinerary and especially visiting the Viakom Mahadev temple. The hosts were very helpful in suggesting places to visit, nearby attractions and even helping in organising our itinerary and taxi for the entire trip. They gave great suggestions for our onwards journey to Munnar and organising tea estate visits. I highly recommend staying at Anandam stays to avoid the typical touristic feeling of Alleppey with its multiple resorts and rather stay in Viakom to get a feeling for the local area. An added bonus is getting to know Binu and his family which made our visit to Kerala a memorable travel journey !

Sweetest people. Mr. Sunil came early in the morning and waited for an hour to pick us up from Thalayolaparambu. He also helped us rent a bike during our stay. His entire family, especially his wife were warm and welcoming. We looked forward to breakfast every morning as it was THE best! Mrs. Sunil is an amazing cook! Location and layout of the hotel, Looks great from photos, but quite Run down property and staff need more training on the hospitality side. Gym machine are all written and rusted, dont even bother going there. Swimming pool in a poor condition.

I had the best time relaxing here at Marari Babu :) so close to the beach to watch sunset each evening. Wonderful hosts who made me feel so at home. I ate breakfast and evening meal here both days and the homemade food is outstanding. The room was spacious and clean with good AC system. Highly recommend. I certainly hope to return in 2024.

Baiju and his family gave us the best stay possible in Marari Beach. The beach itself is just beautiful - quiet, clean and safe for swimming. Marari Beach House is just amazing - incredibly clean, well maintained and set amongst lush tropical gardens only minutes walk from the beach. The ensuite bathroom was modern with plenty of hot water and the AC worked well. The free breakfast was delicious - so much food and so tasty. We also took dinner at the homestay - one vege meal and one fish meal. Both were incredible and very cheap. Baiju's mother does the cooking and she is excellent at it. All in all the stay was exceptional and we will definitely return on our next visit to Kerala. I totally recommend Marari Beach Homestay to everyone - you will not be disappointed.
