We had a pleasant stay over there.. The host and his father was kind-hearted . They welcomed us and greeted us pleasantly. The rooms, bathrooms and living room were well maintained and the delicious food was served. Overall our family had a wonderful experience staying in Anandam Homestays at Vaikom. Sweetest people. Mr. Sunil came early in the morning and waited for an hour to pick us up from Thalayolaparambu. He also helped us rent a bike during our stay. His entire family, especially his wife were warm and welcoming. We looked forward to breakfast every morning as it was THE best! Mrs. Sunil is an amazing cook! Location and layout of the hotel, Looks great from photos, but quite Run down property and staff need more training on the hospitality side. Gym machine are all written and rusted, dont even bother going there. Swimming pool in a poor condition.

Best hosts and accommodation we’ve experienced in Kerala. Suburb food, served on our big terrace (they have a restaurant at the beach but we were in low season so it was closed, but hey, getting served on your own terrace is even better :) Kerala breakfasts but if you prefer European it’s also possible. I’ve had the best dinners there, truly amazing. My husband got sick from eating street food elsewhere, from some shack at the beach, and Augustine came with a few teapots with strong lemon tea and my husband felt better very soon. Wonderful and caring hosts. The room is also very spacious and comfortable, terrace is wonderful with a lovely garden view. And a lovely cat 😃 The beach is only minutes away. We will definitely come back here!
