We (two adults and two teenagers)walked Via Francigena from Ponte a Tressa to Buonconvento and found that beautiful apartament on Booking.com. The apartment had everything we needed, or even more than we needed. We didn’t use the kitchen, preferred to eat in the restaurant. The flat was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, with very comfortable beds and stunning bathroom. Caterina was superb host. Her dinner recommendation was great, and we watched Italy-Croatia group stage match with locals, amazing atmosphere. We would love to stay at Il Nido again!

Enza’s house was perfect for our overnight stop along the Via Francigena. she thought of everything you might need for a short stay in Tuscany. everything was clearly labelled and easy to find. she welcomed us with her English speaking friend Monica and gave us snacks and locally made drinks.     Awesome view! I would like to just stay there without going anywhere. The staff (or to be more specific, the family) were very nice and helpful. They gave us tips about where to visit and can also do personalized tours, even though at the end we still rent a car from Siena. The room is just superb. The breakfast and dinner was also great. We were not so used to the very sweet Italian breakfast with cakes, so they prepare some vegetables for us sometimes. I love the view and the cats and dog there :)

    Quiet and nice location, friendly owners, even the dog. Super breakfast what we like - fresh orange juice, omelet, and the top - homemade cake. Unfortunately we didn't use swimming pool and terrace because of bad weather.. The appartements are comfortable, well furnished and heated. We bought virgin oil produced by the owners with good price. If it is not so far (1.000 km) we will come again.

    Location was awesome, view was amazing. Staff was great and accommodating. The included breakfast was so delicious with fresh baked bread and good quality cheese and ham. And we loved the doggies, Luna and Nettuno.

    The location is amazing, in the middle of nature, with great views of the hills and many chances for beautiful walks. The room was traditional but renovated with good furniture - for example the shower was stone tiles, with a very good hot water pressure. The owners were extremely friendly, professional and helpful: they took time to explain things and made us feel at home. Their breakfast was rich and made with love and local products. Special mention to the Labrador Leo, who was a playful sweet dog whom we are already missing a lot :)

    Well, everything was great. This was the best place we stayed during in our roadtrip around Tuscany. Amazing breakfast with a great view. It’s located in a place where we can rest and enjoy the nature and views are incredible. Property is very well treated. Owners are very nice and made our stay even better. Leo (the dog) also made our days happier. This place really exceed our expectations.
