About the accomodation: Everything was perfect: the calmness, the kindness of the host, the breakfast... thank you, we definitely will be back one time... :) About the region: this accomodation is in a national park which was beautiful. lovely privately owned small hotel where everything is done for you as you need it, nothing is wasted but your comfort is their priority. The hotel is at the top of the town (we know we’re on bikes) so the view spectacular. We had a really good supper and breakfast was good too!

Our apartment was furnished very nicely, in classic Italian style but modern. Apartment is big and with kitchen. You can also use outside area, in walking distance there are small shop and osteria's. Breakfast are served in nearly bar and are sufficient - cheese, ham, juice, fresh bread and sweets, and of course coffee - all of very good quality. We communicated with 2 ladies, each was very kind and spoke good english. Location is good for exploration of Gemona, we have stayed only 1 night, but its worth of more days and its perfect stay for family

The location is perfect for an overnight stay if you are travelling between Italy and Austria . It looks like it will be a perfect summer and winter base in this beautiful region. We were travelling with our dogs, it was very convenient . Paolo is a very attentive host, always ready to assist if you have questions. He made excellent suggestions about where to go and where to eat. The chalet is like home away from home. Everything is beautifully appointed and perfectly equipped. Will definitely be back.
