It was my second time staying at B&B San Francesco. The owner, Marcello, is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious, with fresh brioche from a pasticceria, yoghurt, fresh fruit, fruit juice, cappuccino and various cakes and biscuits. Guests may use the well equipped kitchen to prepare meals if they wish to do so. Good location close to bus stop. Highly recommended.

The host was very responsive, friendly and helpful, which was of utmost importance as I booked at the last minute quite late in the evening. The flat is newly and tastefully furnished and comfortable as well. Everything is spotless. The location is convenient - a short walk from the city centre. All in all, great value for money.

Nothing! We arrived at the address published on Booking.com to be informed by the host that we were in the wrong place. She sent instructions - in Italian - to drive to another place and she would meet us. When we did eventually find her we had to follow her several km out of town and down a rutted, unnamed road to a totally unacceptable property. I asked why it was not at the address listed and was informed "it was an error".

I loved the location, the view, and everything in the house! Very easy to find, the host don't bother you with anything - you just get the keys and you are in. They left us coffee and gave us updates on what's going on in Sicily - Etna erupted at the time and we woke up with a text making sure we are safe. The parking space and the castle are just around the corner. The best place ever!
