The accommodation was excellent; comfortable bed, good shower, generous breakfast and everything was spotlessly clean. Our lovely host Samuel was so kind and helpful. He upgraded us from a double room to an apartment and even gave us a lift into town for dinner and again in the morning to resume the Via Francigena.

Chef Igor impressed us with his flavorful dishes made from simple, refined ingredients, including vegetables and herbs from the property’s garden. Amazingly beautiful room, great location and very friendly staff. They even helped us with transport when the train drivers went on strike! Would gladly recommend to anybody who wants to experience a spacious room with extra facilities (jazucci, sauna), in the heart of Montecatini!

What was there not to like!!! The couple running this Tuscan Villa were simply outstanding, the breakfast included was delicious and they catered to your needs, providing restaurant and parking suggestions for towns and cities nearby. The villa was very well kept, the grounds along with the rooms were great. Each room has it's own little outdoor patio, perfect for sitting in the evening to enjoy a beverage. We had a busy schedule while at the villa, so I wish we had booked one more day to simply lounge around and enjoy the pool and sunbathing loungers. This is a very small and quaint villa, only 3 rooms, I believe, so you definitely get personal service.
