We loved absolutely everything about our stay at B&B Il Castello! The owner and host is the friendliest man you’ll ever meet. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even though the language barrier was a bit of a challenge sometimes. His French is perfect though. Nice, spacious room with beautiful furniture, good airconditioning and a very comfortable bathroom. The swimming pool offered some relief during the hottest hours of the day and we enjoyed it greatly. Very quiet neighbourhood, with a lovely restaurant (Jair) at walking distance from the property. Would definitely recommend this B&B if you have planned some activities nearby and would like to have a calm and comfortable stay.

Large, nicely decorated apartment with kitchen. Comfortable bed and generous sized bathroom suitable for elderly or disabled travellers. Family owned with a long history in the area. Friendly and helpful. Restaurant was great for dinner. Beautiful grounds, gardens and pool.

Staying at Fabio's is well worth the trip off the main roads to the peace and quiet of the countryside. Fabio is the best host ever, providing us with wine from his vineyard and local produce when we arrived and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. The room was very comfortable, very clean and very roomy. The building itself is historic and has lots of character, it has been quite recently converted into a b&b. Although the setting is rural there is a good restaurant just up the road and it is about 15 minutes drive from Arrezzo. Thank you Fabio for the cakes you gave us as we left and for lots of interesting conversations.

This is a small and friendly camping facility, beautifully no-frills, simple pitches under olive trees, in a field, close to a brook one can hear at night. And no artificial lights, so one can really sleep under the stars and moon. Just what I wanted.
