Very nice house close to Mount Aso. For us as western foreigners the whole region was quite different from the picture we typically make ourselves of Japan - much more rural and rather sparsely populated. Beautiful house with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay for several days. A real entertainer's home with nice little touches, like a charcoal burner room, kotatsu in the living room, guitar and entertainment system. There was also a washing machine, full bath, BBQ outside, and full kitchen with condiments. If I am in Mt Aso again I will stay here.
