Nice place around the forest. Quite place. Amazing view to Kilimandzaro. Sufficient equipment. The host is very helpful. Good solution for the trip to Amboseli.

A tranquil place in the middle of savanna with magnificent views on Kilimanjaro, birds singing since early morning on acacia trees and amazing people who make this please special and take care of you like of their own friends. We arrived in Emali and were picked up by a taxi and brought directly to the camping. We booked four nights in a tent but as we had no car and our backpacks would probably not fit in a tent, we had to change for a house (additionally paid). This place is very safe, surrounded by an electric fence, gate closed for the night and security (Sam) is always there for you. Brian (Lerionka) is a great host (he together with Sam and my husband organized beautiful birthday for me), an awesome cook (his food was delicious) and tour guide - he knows so much about the nature and enjoys sharing his passions with guests. We went on one-day Safari in Amboseli organized by Brian with a guide Isak (very competent guide with years of experience, highly recommended), walking tour (spotting zebras) on savanna next to the camping, hiking on foothill of Kili and even a cooking lesson with Brian. If you would like to relax, spend time in nature, enjoy the views of top of Kilimanjaro and get an authentic experience in Kimana and Oloitokitok, you should definitely stay longer than 2 nights. This lodge was well organized and the staff there were full of hospitality. The dishes of Mr.Chef were so excellent. Furthermore, you can feed wild monkeys here. The cost-effectiveness was great.

Nice and charmful 3-bedroom accomodation in a very quit place near Amboseli Nationalpark Iremito Gate. Kitchen and dining area are very well equipped. Great to relax after a game drive. Mt. Kilimanjaro is visible during sunrise/morning hours.

Wilson and the other guys were very nice, they helped us so much with everything starting with how to get to their place from Nairobi, finding the right Matatu and they sent us a Boda Boda (motorbike pickup) and organized our two game drives which were great! The place is very calm and located in the middle of local villages with many farms, goats and cows around. The hotel area was very nice with a lovely garden and each hut has it's own little veranda with a view at Mt. Kilimanjaro (when its not too foggy). After dinner we enjoyed a nice fire and had a great conversation with the guys and were petting the lovely dogs (Morio - we miss you!)

Although a bit off the beaten track we think it’s a bonus as our highlight was definitely the nature walks with Kwenia, he is so knowledgeable and everytime we went for a walk we saw animals, zebras, antilopes, ostriches and so many giraffes not mentioning lots lots of birds. And unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro, different in the evening and morning. Food is also very good and everybody makes you feel at home. We stayed 3 nights but I wish we could spend more time there, we loved our tent, I can’t believe how crispy clean our sheets were! It’s really easy from Nairobi, we took a 1.5 htrain to Emali and we were picked up from the station (30$ for a pick up) I hope to be back.

We had an excellent stay at teen ranch. The landscape is wonderfull, we can see the Kilimandjaro on our way to the breakfast ! The food is great and Jonathan and his team are amazing host, always ready to help and answer the questions. We recomand it 100% !
