For the price this guest house is fantastic. The rooms are small and rather cell like but with lots of lovely outside space you need to spend little time in them. Each room as en-suite loo and sink and two rooms share a newly refurbished shower (much better than pictures - in fact the best of our whole 3 week trip). Manageress is lovely and very helpful - food when you want it (yes you pay for everything including bread etc but that seems more than fair considering the price).

We particularly appreciated the calm, unfussy service, very restful relaxed and safe atmosphere, immaculately clean room, super comfortable mattress! and hot sauna. We loved the Kyrgyz details around the hotel. We are especially grateful to your restaurant staff for preparing a vegetarian breakfast for us, this was wonderful and very kind, particularly because we realise our visit was during Ramadan and it must be very hard work to prepare such beautiful food while fasting. Our special thanks and compliments to your chefs and front desk for assisting us to arrange horse riding for our daughter. We look forward very much to our next opportunity to visit and hope to stay longer next time to explore Ala Archa further. The owner of the place, Ms. Meryem, was so kind and so humane that I can’t even describe it. The location was perfect, within walking distance to everywhere. There were 3 toilets and 3 bathrooms, so you never had any difficulties with such things. The kitchen was spotless and fully equipped
