This is the place that exceeds your expectations! All the reviews that you read is not too good to be true- it’s a real reflection from people that experienced the stay at the Elegant Lake House. From the first step you’re greeted by Randy and his exceptional service. The property is beautiful, surrounded by nature- perfect place to relax and disconnect. We definitely suggest to stay more than one night if you can, because we promise you won’t want to leave. Randy has a lot of knowledge to share about his village and nature and he gladly does it for his guests by showing around. The food that they prepare is delicious! The rooms are very well equipped, super clean and new. So, if you’re reading this review- don’t think any more and book your stay at Elegant Lake House. It’s a true example of hospitality! We’re grateful for Randy’s and his family’s dedication to provide the best time for us. Thank you!

The hoster help us to organize very quickly the Yala Safari but also our depart to Ella. He investigated several bus schedules making our trip much easier. The location is great with a nice view from the balcony to the rice fields. Recomended!

Wonderful, quiet, cozy apartament surrounded by rice fiedle. It is small familliar hotel with large rooms. Swimming pool is big, and clean, and next to room. Very tasty breakfast. During the whole stay our hoste prepared the best tea witht milk for our children. Wery nice atmosphere.

Very attentive staff, happy to arrange everything to make your stay enjoyable. Great view of the bats flying out to hunt and our 3-year old daughter made friends with the staff. Pool was warm and clean, with staff checking on us for drinks and snacks. Arranged two safaris on short notice, one short lake trip and a tour of Yala sanctuary, and packed a sandwich for our daughter to take with. Overall the best experience in Sri Lanka.

We had an amazing stay! The team was incredibly accommodating and generous—surprising us with a free upgrade and always ready to help, even with last-minute requests like organizing a safari and a fishing trip. The food was delicious, and Jula, who manages the house, was both precise and friendly. Dimuthu and his family were attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to meet our needs. We had an amazing time at tissamaharama. The room was super clean and comfortable. We got to participate at cooking and learned so many new things about sri lankan food! The whole family was so nice to us, it was truly a highlight of our sri lankan roadtrip! We also booked safari and transportation from here. We had an amazing stay at Leisure Villa-Yala! owner and his family were incredibly welcoming, ensuring every detail was perfect. From delightful meals to bird-watching tours, the location near Yala National Park for safaris and he arranged the safari for us,It was an amazing experience,we saw many animals especially a leopard,elephants,crocodiles,deers Impeccable and spacious rooms with AC, very good and comfortable bed to a delicious breakfast and Dinner– everything exceeded expectations.The building is surrounded by lots of trees. The host was very kind and friendly. We got to eat home made food. Dont miss to order their meals because they were very delicious.This is one of the best place I have ever stayed. The price is reasonable and the rooms are spot clean. The host made sure we are well taken care of. This is absolutely great value for money.
