From the moment we entered the sunset cabana, I felt the tranqility of this place.I have no hesitation in recommending this place.The owner chathu and his family were very friendly. We felt like family form the moment we arrived.we book in the Small room, but the other room was not booked that day,so we were given that room ,the wood finish in that room is very beautiful. That room is very amazing. Very comfortable .This was the best breakfast i had in sri lanka .we also got dinner from them it was very interesting. From here you can reach galle in 10 minutes .If i am in galle when i return to sri lanka this will undoubtedly be my first choice of accommodation.The hugs on our way out were a delight to our hearts . I would 100% recommend this.

I recently stayed at the Nirosha Guest House and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers incredibly affordable rates per night, making it a great choice for budget-conscious travelers. From the moment we arrived until our reluctant departure, every aspect of this charming villa exceeded our expectations, creating an unforgettable Sri Lankan escape. Location: 10/10 Nestled in the peaceful village of Pitiwella, just a short and pleasant distance from the historic Galle Fort, Villa Serene offers the ideal balance of tranquility and accessibility. We loved being a mere 5-minute stroll from the beautiful Pitiwella Beach, allowing for spontaneous dips in the ocean and stunning sunset walks. The convenience of nearby local shops for daily needs, coupled with easy access to tuk-tuks and the main bus route, meant we could explore Galle and its surroundings effortlessly, yet return to the serene embrace of the villa. Accommodation & Comfort: 10/10 The villa itself is a true gem. Spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed, it felt like a home away from home. We stayed in the one-bedroom villa, which was generous in size (around 1873 sq ft!) and boasted a fully equipped kitchen – perfect for those who enjoy preparing their own meals. The air conditioning was a welcome relief from the tropical heat, and the comfortable king-sized bed ensured restful nights. We particularly adored the private balcony with its lush garden views, a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The overall ambiance was one of warmth and genuine comfort. Amenities & Facilities: 10/10 Villa Serene truly goes above and beyond with its offerings. The fast, free Wi-Fi (a speedy 122 Mbps!) was a huge plus, allowing us to stay connected effortlessly. The availability of a washing machine was incredibly convenient for longer stays. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like mosquito nets, a flat-screen TV, and quality linens.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Galle! The villa was extremely spacious, perfect for families and groups of friends. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, with a lovely swimming pool for relaxing after a day out. We especially loved the peaceful patio and serene lotus pond. The staff were incredibly dedicated and helpful, and the owner went above and beyond by arranging a separate hotel for our caretaker — and even covering the cost. Such thoughtfulness made our stay truly special. Highly recommend for a comfortable and memorable experience!

This was a gem of a find for me. First time to Sri Lanka and there was trepidation on my part about the trip. However Malik the owner and his family made it so easy for me. The accommodation is a clean, modern and comfortable bungalow set in the garden of the family home. The accommodation is 10 minutes from the centre of Galle but in a quiet location. An ideal location for trips to the beaches, Galle fort and other local attractions. Malik and his family are so helpful, nothing too much trouble. The home cooking, breakfast and dinner is delicious and they offer traditional cookery lessons in their home kitchen. Malik even sorted my transport from the airport to the accommodation and also had a SIM card sorted for me. Local transport to and from the bungalow is so easy to arrange, I used the pick me up app. I fully recommend this accommodation. Enjoy.
