We had a great stay at Yala Jungle Haven during our visit to Yala National Park. The hosts, Thusara and Sineth, were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home. Sineth gave us a tour of the camp, sharing its story, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner of the chef underneath the stars. Afterwards, we fell asleep surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. The rooms were clean and nice. Thusara, an experienced safari guide, made our safari unforgettable. He arranged special tickets, ensuring we were among the first jeeps in the park. His knowledge of wildlife and special approach to avoid the jeep traffic cues made the experience feel unique and less crowded. We also lucky enough to see three leopards during the tour! In short, we really enjoyed our stay at Yala Jungle Haven and next time we will stay longer.

Beautiful, authentic and wild place right next to the safari park. The host is fantastic, really kind and welcoming and made great food!! The place is rustic but very clean and all adds to the feeling of being immersed in the jungle.

Where do I begin... What an experience! We were picked up exactly at the time they said by the great jeep that already put us in the safari mood. We were expexting a nice tent but were blown away by the size of the tent and how comfortable it was. The dinner was nice as was the lunch the next day, but we didn´t come for food. THE BEST things were the night walk (scary!!!!) and the safari tour the next day and we had a great guide, Jelo, who made it extra fun and informative. Great sense of humor and an all round great guy! We saw the leopard! And monkeys, water buffalos, crocodiles, the list is long. The scenery took our breath away. Everything ran like clock work, very professional and friendly.

Since our arrival, we have been treated with immense respect, and all the staff members are wonderfully pleasant and helpful. The surroundings are a peaceful oasis, the food is incredibly delicious, and the bedroom is very clean. We visited a safari, and the hotel assisted us with a driver and a guide—which allowed us to see elephants and even a leopard in the wild! A heartfelt thank you for such a wonderful welcome and unforgettable experiences; we highly recommend this place and will definitely return. ☺️🙏❤️

Lovely staff, beautiful property and the rooms are stunning. Very comfortable and homely in the rooms. We appreciated the staffs attentiveness and they really wanted us to enjoy our stay. They also organised a safari for us at Yala and the location of the villa is great for that!

My time at Podi Hoona Luxury Bush Camp was absolutely great. From the food , to accommodation was absolutely perfect, The chefs food was the best i ate on my trip. The staff organised me a game drive at Yala National Park which I was lucky to witness the magnificent Sri Lankan Leopard, Sloth bear many elephants and many bird species. Its the ideal place to be in the wild.

Gabriel and Sanjana were the most amazing hosts. They were so welcoming to us and helped us with every aspect of our trip. The food was delicious and plentiful and they were a wealth of local information and knowledge. I would highly recommend this as an amazing place to stay.
