We chose this accommodation in the desert based on the excellent reviews and ratings, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect! Our hosts picked us up, showed us around, and made us feel at home. The dinner and breakfast were outstanding, with so much delicious food. We had a great time sitting under the open sky. The bed was very comfortable for the night. I highly recommend this place—it’s top-notch and truly amazing! Big thanks to Ikhlef and Hassan.

We had a great time in this beautiful and peaceful environment in the dunes. So many stars! great rooms and delicious food! the staff is super friendly and helpful! they can organize everything for you from pick up from the airport to short or long excursions to live and explore the amazing desert by dromedars or 4X4. 100% recomendable!

Our stay in La Maison-Berbère was just magical. The host is beyond helpful and happy to assist you with all your needs. Meals are hefty, homemade and simply delicious. One can choose to sleep either in the room or under the stars on the mattresses taken out upon request. There's ice cold water and fresh fruit available at all times. We also learnt a new card game and could play with the host's kitties. We can strongly recommend the Sahara trip, which in 2025 cost 100 euro per person. The driver, with whom the owner cooperates, is so skilled he should compete in the Dakar rally. During the trip we were taken deep into the Sahara desert, where we spent the night smoking hookah, eating tajine and drinking Moroccan tea. Our stay exceeded our expectations and left a lasting impression.

We spend here amazingly great weekend, surrounded by tranquility, hospitality and joy of simple life. It was great experience to feel how bérbere nomads live their everyday in Sahara desert. We enjoyed walking among the quiet dunes, admiring the stoning sunsets, tasting vegies from desert garden and music evenings in circle of warm fire. I had the most wonderful experience at the camp - as a solo female traveler, I felt incredibly well cared for, and I would like to recommend this experience to all other travelers. Tents are standing in quite a distance from each other, which allows for privacy. Bathrooms are super clean, showers have warm water. Food is amazing! Seriously - made with love and care from fresh ingredients. I had a day trip to see the high dunes, which was the highlight of my stay in Morocco. Memories from it will stay with me forever. At night, you can see Milky Way. This is a true desert experience & I would love to recommend it to anyone looking for something genuine and authentic.

This was hands down one of the best trips I haven ever been on! The scenery was breathtaking and the staff here was so accommodating. By the end of the trip I felt like I had a family in the desert. The excursions we did were also amazing, I definitely recommend the camel rides, atv rides, and sand boarding. We also got to tour some nomadic families and visit a few villages. Also the food was AMAZING. Seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had. The camp was also beautiful, very clean, fancy, and they served us 3 course meals for dinner every night. The stars here are also I sane you can see the whole Milky Way! Overall do not hesitate to book this trip you will not regret it! The staff here will make you feel so comfortable and right at home! Special shoutout to Moha, and Said they were so funny and sweet to me and my friend. I went just me and my other friend and I’ve never felt more safe traveling just us girls! Seriously book this trip right

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place, that's the one. Nice atmosphere, very helpful owner. If you want a desert tour just ask as it can be arranged according to your needs. The actual place is about 4 min drive from Mhamid so if you don't want to drive just for a dinner ask the owner as he can prepare that for you.

Very beautiful place with friendly staff, and great food. The owner was very kind and offered as an additional room with heating (free of charge), because some of us were sick. There is a wonderful patio inside with a tree full of birds.

We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.
