We really enjoyed our stay in Celestun. The hosts were very nice and the personnel was helpful. 10/10! The kids loved the billiard and the size of the house. The rooftop terrace is also a nice place to enjoy the sun and relax.

We stayed at Camping Dos Lunas for a few days, at first we booked one night, and honestly, we could have stayed much longer. This place has such an amazing vibe — right by the beach, so you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. What we really loved is that you have different options for your stay. You can bring your own tent, stay in a comfortable glamping tent, or even come with your camper. No matter what you choose, the atmosphere is just perfect for a relaxed beach escape. The staff here are absolutely wonderful — so helpful and kind. They even managed to get us fresh shrimp and fish, and then prepared some of it for us over the fire right there on the beach. Simple, delicious and unforgettable. The shared kitchen is also a great touch if you want to cook something yourself. Everything here feels easy-going, laid-back, and super close to nature. If you’re looking for a real beach camping experience with all the little extras that make life easier, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Celestun is a beautiful, sleepy fishing village with amazing beaches. People are friendly and used to tourists. Flamingoes and mangroves are a must. Well worth a visit for a quiet beach break. Villa Gabriela is a self-service hotel. Do NOT expect to see the management. The room is clean, bed is big and firm, towels, soap and loo paper supplied. Fridge, coffee maker, TV, wi-fi and hammock. AC and fan. Location is fine but not in the centre. Mini-market opposite is friendly and handy for essentials. Beach is 5 minutes easy walk. Plenty of good restaurants on the beach or in town.

This was a very relaxing and peaceful stay, I enjoyed some of the attractions Celestun had during the day like seeing the flamingos which was awesome and then came here to relax. The complex is big and has a big pool. It felt like a private pool as no one else was there. The beach was awesome, water was clear and waves were very calm. I enjoyed one of the best sunsets I have seen and the best part was I enjoyed it with the sound of nature. The Villa was great it had everything you need and had a view of the ocean from the dining area. It was very spacious and loved that it was single standing it provided more privacy. I will definately come again for more days!
