Achab is a beautiful place with very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed every minute of our weekend! Children enjoyed the pony rides and feeding them apples. We made friends with the goats and enjoyed lovely nature walks and a braai with a view in the evening. We will be back!

Awesome views all around the property. You must have a proper 4x4 in this terrain. Sandra and her team was just awesome 👏🏻😎. The road is most certainly not for the faint hearted. Try to not arrive after dark as the tracks are very vague after the rains. If you find the gate locked, look behind the pole for the key. DO NOT USE THE D1914 road. The lower part is owned now by a local mining company and they don’t like the sight of outsiders driving through.

We camped at Achab for one night. The campsite is equipped with all you can need and is huge!! The Main reception area is absolutely stunning! Claudia, Philip and Steven are amazing.

    We had a great one night stay here. The place was large enough and comfortable for four adults and we really enjoyed the outdoor bbq cooking facilities. Hosts were welcoming and friendly and we loved meeting their pet tortoise. The location and scenery was peaceful and relaxing after a long day of driving.
