A Stunning Property in Bhaktapur! Hotel Yechu is truly one of the finest properties in Bhaktapur. While it is a little farther from Durbar Square, the breathtaking architecture makes it well worth the visit. Though we didn’t get the chance to stay this time, the ambiance and design left a lasting impression. I will definitely choose to stay here on my next visit. Without a doubt, the best property in Bhaktapur!

What a wholesome place! The room was clean, tidy and comfortable, warm blankets. There was a family rooftop with an awesome view. The best of of course was the host itself, who was very friendly, answered any questions, open for conversation and sharing his culture. On the next day me and my friends were even invited to join his family for a festival. Couldn't get more local! Everything was good. But don't expect an extremely fancy shower or so like in a hotel. You are staying in place where local people live. And you will find everything you need! What could be better than that.

I loved my stay at Hotel Layaku Durbar! Such a great family run business, the owner and his family are super friendly and very accommodating. I booked for 2 nights and stayed for 5 😂 I found the bed very comfortable and the room nice and clean. My room even had a balcony and views to the mountains. I really enjoyed the ambience and decor of the hotel. Great location too!!! And delicious complimentary breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a perfect way to start the day....or spend the whole day up there reading a book, taking in the sun and the mountains. I highly recommend! It's one of the nicest places I've stayed so far in Nepal. ❤️

If you want to fully enjoy the atmosphere of Bakhatapur Shiva guesthouse it is one of the most suitable places. Directly on Durbar square, the windows overlook the temples which are so close it seems like you can touch them. The square is alive both day and night so it should be noted that sleep could be disturbed by dogs and morning processions (not if they are held every day or only during the period of the Hindu festivals where we were), we personally we found it very suggestive. The guesthouse is clean, the room spacious and the wifi fast. There is a good restaurant on the ground floor and the staff are very helpful

    I loved my stay at Laxmi and would go back there again! The location is great- it's 2 min walk from Durbar Square with a great rooftop view and right next to different cafes and restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. The highlight was Navin- the owner. He's very keen on sharing his culture, he showed me different temples around the city, told many interesting stories and shared information about Nepal and Newari culture. If you want to have breakfast at the hotel, it's tasty and a big portion.

    Nice view of Bhaktapur. Good location. Friendly, welcoming and very helpful staff and owners. Delicious breakfast and they change it everyday. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. I recommend Hotel Rupakot and Rooftop Restaurant.

    Excellent location next very close to the Durbar square and various temples. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I asked for a quiet room and was placed upstairs on the backside of the hotel, perfect. Room, stairs and carpet were very clean.

    Loved the traditional structure of the guest house. Pleasant safe environment to be in. Receptionist Anjal was warm and lovely and catered to guests needs. Veg breakfast and overall staffs service was good. No safe in guest house, therefore would advise guests to lock up personal luggages to prevent petty thefts.

    Great location with a rooftop terrace overlooking the main square. Comfortable room and the food is excellent. The host is a great guy, he took us on a tour of the city and showed us all of the local traditions, customs and even took us to a local festival. The family that own the property also have a cute dog.
