I have to give this property an amazing review. It’s not 5 star and it doesn’t claim to be but this was a last min booking due to a cancelled flight. I was out in the cold at 10:30pm at night and no one was awake. The office was closed. The assistant manager found me crying outside and made an exception for me. There was one room left but it wasn’t clean. He went above and beyond to quickly clean it for me so I had a warm place to sleep for the night. There were many cancelled flights and no hotels had room. Vinay went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Bringing some food for me as well. Amazing kiwi hospitality, you have done Nz proud. As an expat myself I cannot speak more highly. Thank you so so much.

We had a cozy stay in this old charming place. When we arrived, the host Mr. John welcomed us even barefoot on rainy day. Ms. Mel also welcomed us with a warm smile. I felt so touched, thank you so much again. The place is very gorgeous, felt like time stopped. I loved all the details. In the morning, lovely breakfast by Mr. John was waiting for us. Thank you for preparing our room as we requested, I really appreciate it. Valet parking was great too. I wish I can go back to this magical place in Auckland in the future. We were very warmly welcomed along with our 7 month old puppy. It was easy to find and close to the motorway exit. We slept well, as it was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Our hosts provided a range of breakfast food, as well as items from their own pantry that we wanted. It was all impeccably clean. Our dog enjoyed the interactions with our hosts and freedom to roam the living area, as well as the wooded area adjacent.

Everything was beautiful and everything was onboard for cooking if we were staying longer we would have cooked instead of buying takeaways, allowing my lil fur baby there was also a bonus as I always like going to pet friendly bnbs or motels away from home. The host was lovely 10 plus stars from me 😁
