I took a bed in a shared dormitory. Very comfortable, clean and big space there. The place also has a lovely sitting area and a kitchen. Everything so nice and clean. Mahmood, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful and we had along with other guests a really good time there. I would've definitely extended my stay if I had the chance but unfortunately I had to leave. Regarding rhe surroundings, so much to see and explore. And the area where the hostel is located is very peaceful and very close to the shops and restaurants

Very nice patio, host super nice offered us all help we need. Convenient location for balcony walk. Clean and comfortable rooms.

This place is magnificent, every detail is well thought. Located in a quiet ancient village al Hamra, it is very close to visit Misfah’s falaj systems. It is a peaceful place and we enjoyed very much our stay !

The hotel is super cosy and cute. There is tea, coffee and halwa for you to eat. Faisal was a very nice and friendly guy that was always there for you if u needed any help. He can also help you to find a guide or 4wd if you need one.

This place was perfect after a week's road tripping around Oman. I had the place to myself. Huge room and king sized bed, spacious wet room bathroom and best of all, a lovely pool, complete with mood lighting. The staff were all very welcoming and I felt at home. The location on a farm on the edge of Old Hamra was perfect for peace and quiet. Don't be put off by there being no food options. This means no dreaded queues at the breakfast buffet and there are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby for meals throughout the day. Horse riding through the date plantation in the centre of the old town was great, and only 10 OMR. Communication through booking.com worked very well Great location as a base for exploring Misfah Al Abriyyin, Jebel Shams, Jebel Akhdar, Bahla Fort, Jabreen Castle, Nizwa fort and souk, all within about an hours drive or less. Old Al Hamra is worth a look too.

At first we couldn't find it. But after a phonecall to the number at the bookingreservation, we received the right address. The host was humble, very friendly and we felt really welcome there. Great location for doing Jabal Shams balcony walk home. The host/owner was very nice and let me keep my things in the room until next day so that I could come after the hike and have a shower (which I did around 2-3 pm).

Really great location to experience the mountains. 10 minutes on foot and you've lost site of all buildings. Make sure to bring enough food, although you can visit nearby resorts for a restaurant if needed. Wouldn't recommend being out late at night, but the compound has a great view of the night sky. We made it up in a little automatic Suzuki, but would have had trouble if it rained.
