Great place to experience unexplored part of Panama with two wonderful hosts, who are extremely knowledgeable of Panama’s beautiful nature! Great chance to see turtles laying eggs, hatching of the eggs and experiencing the new born turtles to go into the sea. And on top of it, our host Cees was a great guide taking us around! Mike, the owner, is an excellent chef. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and dinner. He speaks many languages so communication was easy. We learned a lot from him about the area. TORIO is a very small rural location in a lush tropical setting with very friendly people. Nearby is Playa TORIO which has good swimming.

A wonderful host who gave us lots of great tips on things to do and see in the area. The place is simple but perfect for enjoying life in the jungle—especially with the open-air kitchen where you can cook your own meals. There are also a couple of nice spots for food and morning coffee within walking distance, and more restaurants just a short drive away. It's also close to fun activities like hiking to a waterfall and horseback riding (with a reservation). We’ll definitely be coming back!

Elodie prepared the best breakfast ever during both days of my stay here and I had it on the outdoor patio overlooking the rolling hills in the distance. This was probably my favorite thing about my stay. Also, lovely for looking at the stars and moon at night and connecting with nature.
