Beautiful accommodation, clean, comfortable, with everything you need for a longer stay. There is nothing to complain about, the lovely owner, who even welcomed us with domestic eggs. Covered parking space as a bonus, I highly recommend it especially for longer but also short stays.

Great place to stay! Location is perfect in nature and close to so many beautiful places. You can even walk to the Golica peak. The apartment is clean, comfortable and modern. Plus the best view from the balcony. The owner is nice and all the animals so sweet! Our dogs felt really comfortable around the farm

This is a great place for a holiday, or just a stopover to for a night on the way to Croatia. Arriving at 10:30 pm we again got a warm welcome with a smile. Both the red and the blue rooms are beautifully and lovingly decorated, with great care for detail and comfort – there is nothing that is not pretty and selected with care, from nice furniture to extremely comfy beds to soft furnishings - even the crockery for the delicious breakfast. You can tell the owners have travelled themselves and know what makes a stay like home. Everything is like on the fotos, even nicer. In the blue room you wake up with a panoramic mountain view from your bed 😊 The breakfast is served in the room – which we loved. If you wish to sit comfortably at a table with chairs, go for the larger blue room. For someone liking their breakfast at a table and not on the tray, it might be a bit crammed in the red room as the table there is not big. Special breakfast wishes were taken into account, and it was plenty and very good. Do check beforehand to make sure breakfast can be offered on the date(s) you need it – we have been unlucky once as the owner did not have time. There is a mini bar, which could do with stocking up with the things mentioned on the price list – a g&t would have been splendid, or a glass of wine. Beer can be found. A lovely place, we have been back already and certainly will do again.

Our stay at Chalet Sofija totally exceeded our expectations (which are quite high), from the moment we arrived till the moment we had to leave. First of all, the location of the chalet is out of this world, with views that take your breath away from every angle you look, whether from the room, while enjoying a nice dip in the infinity pool or eating breakfast or dinner from the terrace. The photos do not do it justice, it is unbelievable how beautiful this place is. Secondly and not less important, the hospitality of the hosts, Pop and Aleksandra together with the Manageress Alenka was exceptional throughout our stay and they went out of their way to make us feel at home and that is how we felt during the whole of our stay there. To top it up, the food was expertly prepared and was one of the finest dining experiences we have encountered, exceeding the level of many Michelin star restaurants we have dined at. Pop’s innovative cooking presented us with amazing and delicious dishes with a twist, not only for dinner but also for breakfast. He also served us with very good Slovenian wines that went really well with the dishes served. And, if this was not enough, the room was huge, exquisitely and modernly decorated but perfectly fit with the surrounding nature and offered panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and forest, with a huge terrace from where we could enjoy this beautiful nature up close. I don’t think we will ever find an accommodation in Slovenia that comes even close to what we experienced at Chalet Sofija.

    Nice spacious apartments in a quiet picturesque town (there were two of us with two dogs). There is everything you need for a comfortable life. Welcoming hosts who greeted us upon arrival and were ready to explain everything about the accommodation and the surrounding area. Good location near the Triglav National Park and many beautiful natural spots and routes.

    Wonderful 4-day stay. Absolutely stunning view of the mountains, with a private balcony. Comfortable bed, immaculately clean, well stocked kitchen with all amenities and lovely shower. The hosts are so welcoming and offered us a drink upon our arrival. They are animal lovers, so we enjoyed meeting their dogs and cats. Truly a gem of a location and place.

Lake Jasna in Kranjska gora is close, so many good restaurants with great food, Italy is 25 min far away, Austria also cca 30 min...The view is wonderfull, so romantic, perfect parking space, appartment is spacious, modern, very clean...Bed was extraordinary comfortable, so good matress...We slept perfect...Owners are truly pet friendly. We came in winter time, so we shall come in spring, summer and autumn for sure. We highly recomend this appartment. :)
