We have been vacationing in Koh Samui for twenty-four years and this was our best stay. W Hotel is charming and lobby pool adds a nice touch, especially for the nightly fire dancers. Our room was surprising large compared to other top Samui hotels and included a private pool and spectacular view of the ocean over the adjacent forest canopy. I cannot begin to praise the staff enough. The buggy drivers were always helpful and during one rain storm they delivered us directly to our car in the parking garage thus avoiding a transfer in the rain in front of the hotel. The driver waited and then guided us out to the access road which was another nice touch. Food, especially the Thai options were delicious and surpassed the dinner we had at a nearby resort that has a lengthy discourse on the high quality of their chef and Thai food on their web site. We had several meals in our pool villa and the service was excellent and it was lovely to enjoy our private dining from our own deck overlooking the beautiful view. We also returned this trip for another excellent Japanese meal at the featured restaurant, Namu. It is not surprising why they continue to win awards after you enjoy their lobster with spicy noodles. Service was never farther than a call away and our requests were frequently handled by Aimee who is not only super-efficient but also charming. She met and exceeded our requests and also provided shopping tips and restaurant recommendations, It was interesting to compare our years of visiting Samui with here more recent experiences. W Hotel provides lovely rooms, great dining experience and an unmatched excellent staff and I would highly recommend staying there.

The stuff was very friendly, kind and so much helpful. The location of the place it can be a little bit hidden but away from the noise. There is little swimming pool and shortcut to the beach which takes 30sec!

The location is deceiving as you approach the resort. The road is unsealed and uneven, however, as soon as you walk into reception the atmosphere improves dramatically. You are welcomed by Jolan’s team and given a variety of options on what you can expect from your stay. We loved this. The resort is situated on Baan Tai beach and it is stunning. The photos do not do it justice.

We recently stayed at The Deck Hotel for 16 nights and had a generally pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere that made our extended stay enjoyable. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, providing a relaxing space to unwind. However, we did struggle with having no hot water in one of the bathrooms, which was inconvenient. Another downside was the limited included breakfast options—and if we wanted more to drink beyond the single glass of juice provided, we had to pay extra. This was a bit disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Aside from that, everything met our expectations, and we had a pleasant stay and the hotel’s location was convenient for exploring the area. We would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and well-located hotel.

The villa was new, clean and spacious, with a beautiful pool for customers to enjoy. The staff was extremely helpful, they took care of our clothes and brought them to the laundromat, giving them back perfectly folded and scented. We also had trouble on our check out as we were going to Ko Tao and some ferries were fully booked. Then the staff went to the pier to sort things out for us, finally getting us a high speed boat and a taxi to the pier. We felt like the resort was a hidden gem as it’s quite new and people still don’t know about it.

The place is amazing - it's like a mini jungle, so it feels private and you're surrounded by greenery. The house itself is very cozy, conditioning and a ceiling fan, very convenient shelves, amazing shower. Overall - very comfortable, probably the best place we've stayed at in SE Asia in terms of coziness and money/value. The owners are amazing, always there to help or just chat. Another highlight are the breakfasts - 10/10, would breakfast again :) Also, internet connection is stable and fast.

    The secluded location, the villa's and facilities are all top class and absolutely stunning. What differentiates a good hotel from a great one are the people, and I would like to make a special mention of the food and beverages team, especially Branka Novakavic, Chef Sumalee Khunpet and Champ. They did everything humanly possible to ensure us a fabulous dining experience and accommodated our special diatry restrictions as if they were no problem at all. We feel like we were blessed to experience a few days of heaven on earth.

    Everything! I stayed with my partner for 5 nights as we are travelling south east Asia and this villa was by far both our favourites. The villa is spacious and designed so modern. The view is beautiful with an amazing private pool and sunbathing area. John the host was so friendly and gave us recommendations and helped us with anything we needed. If you love animals and nature it’s the perfect place to stay. John has a pet parrot and dog which I loved because I love animals :)
