Very comfortable accommodation. I was cycle touring and accommodation was bicycle friendly. The owners family were lovely. Good showers, comfy beds, heating and A/C in units. Lovely home cooked breakfast at a time that suited me. The location is one of the nicest bits of Sun Moon lake around the dam - great to go watch sunrise!

The hotel is beautiful and quirky. The owners are artists and collectors so it's stuffed with interesting object d'art. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were fine. Ours had a sit bath which was unusual but functional, there was plenty of hot water. Our rooms had a partial lake view. The rooms were well equipped with a fridge, kettle and TV. The beds were really hard and I was worried at first, but they were really comfortable. There were tables inside and in the garden - we bought takeaway breakfast and snacks and it was nice to be able to sit together as a family. It was close to all the street food and lake activities.

    Place is run by extremely friendly staff, room is small with barely enough space for the double bunk beds (which were study and comfortable) but size is mitigated by a shared living area. hot water runs well with very good water pressure, which is essential during winter. resident cats are lovely.
