The family at the tea farm were so friendly and welcoming, and we had the best food here in our whole trip to Taiwan. It is only 15 minutes drive from the forest railway and there were lots of hiking trails nearby. The room was basic but fine, with a large shared lounge area. we were there when the weather was cold and there was a heater we could use.

The wooden cabin room was amazing to be in, and sleep in and wake up in. The views from the window up to the hills on one side were so heart warming and cozy countryside feeling. The views from the balcony were breathtakingly beautiful. You can see the sun rise from here over a sea of rising clouds, absolutely ethereal. The owners were so friendly and helpful with their knowledge, and the town is very quiet and small. The food is delicious around here and the townspeople are very friendly. There are lots of hikes around here and lots to do and see.

The dinner was truly excellent. Given all meals are included, the hotel was great value for money. The staff also took us on a nighttime walk after dinner. The hotel itself is in a beautiful tea field and very remote. The rooms were comfortable and warm in the winter but - remember to bring your own towel!

The facilities are not incredible, but it was really made up for by the loveliest people and an authentic experience. Thank you for all the delicious fruit you gave me and making me feel so welcome.

The host and his dog are the sweetest. The beds are very spacious. There is good ventilation. The shower is hot and has good pressure. Overall, a delight!

Literally the cheapest stay I could find in my 4 nights in Alishan. Strong dehumidifier that could blow dry my clothing in a night!!!! Outdoor terrance that you can chill at night.
