Firstly the owner is absolutely lovely, just a Whatsapp message away, he arranged buggy to supermarket/ATM when we needed, answered all of our questions promptly, and even said he would help us with our onward journey: when we expressed we had an issue with a previous hotel he offered to help if we needed, to translate etc, and further said he would recommend us as guests should we have any other issues in the future. Absolutely fantastic guy! They had the cutest friendly dog in the hotel, Goku! The hotel itself is great, free bicycles, and motorcycles to rent instantly. Laundry service was fantastic. The room was gorgeous, clean, the shower was the best we’ve had since in our nearly 6 weeks travelling. Bed was comfy, TV was large, aircon was fantastic and the room got very cool very quickly. The hotel is located in a “resort complex” so everything is within walking distance, the beach & calm sea, places to eat/shop, and an amazing night market.

This was one of the best experiences we had in recent years. The villas were absolutely stunning and offered everything you need on a longer stay abroad - the washing machine was a particularly useful addition and we made sure to utilize it often. The bedrooms are spacious with clever storing solutions, the bathrooms were gorgeous and fully equipped, the kitchen had all the utensils and ammenities you could think of and don't even get me started on the pool. Fantastic size, perfect temperature, always clean and tidy. We stayed for 12 nights and we would've loved to extend our stay for a further week or so.

Everything about Phu My Hung was wonderful. The pool is fabulous. Location is perfect for getting around the Island with its central location, but away from the hustle and bustle. The bungalows are all on the ground level and set around the pool. The kitchen is well equipped, with a large fridge freezer and ample pots, pans and dishes. WiFi is great with routers in every room. The family who own the business couldn’t be more helpful and kind. The staff are great and everything is very well maintained and clean. Guests are friendly, with lots people staying a month or even longer due to the unbeatable price to amenity ratio. The environment is laid back and it has a very homely feel. There were people of all ages and nationalities. I stayed a month and my daughter and friend joined me for 15 days. We all loved our stay. As a seasoned traveller, I’d rate it high up there with the best budget places I’ve stayed longer term in Asia. I’ll definitely be back and am sorry to leave as Phu My Hung was the highlight of my month in Phu Quoc.

We had a perfect holiday at Kim 2, located in the unspoiled and genuine north of Phu Quoc. Kim, Li, and their wonderful family went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The room was spacious and clean, with stunning views. The beachside pool boasted the most beautiful scenery, and the beach was pristine, with snorkeling opportunities. A charming village nearby provided everything we needed, adding to the convenience. One of the highlights could be Kim 2’s restaurant, where we enjoyed the best pork roast (pečenje) of our lives - a huge compliment coming from a country where it’s a culinary specialty! For sunset lovers, another picturesque beach is just a short distance away, making this location an absolute dream. All in all, this was a perfect stay, and we truly hope to return to this fantastic place in the future.
