An absolute treat. One of the most wonderful hotels we’ve ever stayed in offering the best of South Africa. Just pure class. The rooms, the staff, the spa, the food. 5 star all the way. We’ve spent a lot of time in SA yet we were all absolutely wowed by this place. Didn’t want to leave. Also worth mentioning that this place doubles up as a high end hospitality training school giving opportunities to the local community and training them up to work in tourism.

All was absolutly perfect. If we could give a note of 20 on 10, we could do it. Perfect hosts, perfect location very cosy, clean and comfortable. A real pleasure We recommend And the little City Graaff-Reinet is charming too, and the Desolation Valley is beautiful. We were sorry to have to leave this place

I loved that we had our own detached little house, and we had four twin beds so lots of room. And oh my gosh the aircon was crispy cool especially for Graaff-Reinet which reached 40 degrees 🥵🔥 The shower pressure was nice and strong and I told my husband, even though it was 19:00 I wanted to swim because I wanted to get my moneys worth and it was definitely worth it! 🤣 I definitely preferred that it was just outside Graaff-Reinet, felt very safe.

    Dog friendly, stunning location, well stocked cottage, our second stay and spoilt with lovely farm cheese and eggs. Forgot to buy milk and voila the farm manager drops off milk with a big smile. Cannot beat walking in a huge a un-spoilt nature reserve in dog heaven with lovely fresh pool to swim in. Coffee table books well-chosen with amazing history of the area.
