The traditional wooden chalet was set in a beautiful location at the top of the mountain in Brambruesch, a gondola/cable car ride or 20/30 minute car journey from Chur city centre. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. We had a large family room with stunning views over the valley. It had a large comfy double bed plus bunk beds and a table and seating for 6 people. Bergpension Battagliahutte had a great homely feel thanks to the hosts Tomas and his lovely family who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

Starting from the Deluxe category, the apartments also have a sauna and a washing machine. Surely a very nice place with clean apartments, nice facilities and kind staff. The apartment was modern and very well kept. Access from the underground parking is well thought and convenient.

Also the restaurant at the hotel has great food for grownups and for the children both at breakfast and every other meal. We could really relax and enjoy our vacation!

The gourmet restaurant was awarded 16 points in the Gault Millau guide. Truly, one of the best hotel stays we have ever had. I will be dreaming of this place until our next visit. The staff, room, spa, food, setting, massage, service were ALL remarkable.
