Situated 450 metres above Lake Lucerne on the Bürgenberg mountain, in the Bürgenstock Resort, the Waldhotel by Bürgenstock was designed by star architect Matteo Thun and features the Waldhotel Spa and... The natural beauty of the spectacular property the hotels are situated on is simply amazing. The hotels provide superb service, from booking to the wonderful, friendly & knowledgeable staff on arrival to the property. My dining experience did not disappoint. I enjoyed the delectable freshness of each meal & the delightful presentation. My room was spacious, clean & quite modern with an amazing alpine view. The fresh orchids in the room added a very nice welcome touch to the ambience which is set for guests relaxation & rejuvenation.

The BellaVista is located 400 metres above Lake Lucerne and 1 km from the centre of Emmetten. Free WiFi is provided. Clean, quite and spacious and at a great location if you are looking for a balance of isolation and being close to a village with at least one shop, a gas station and a few places to eat. Let's not forget the cable cars in walking distance that can lift you up in the mountains! So comfortable that a family of four could stay there for weeks. With a view that you believe it only if you see it!

Located in Beckenried at Lake Lucerne, Boutique-Hotel Schlüssel offers rooms of unique charm in a historic building dating back to 1820. WiFi access is free of charge. Beautiful location and very peaceful. The room was clean and comfortable. Shower was amazing for our top floor attic room. Breakfast was wonderful as was the dining experience. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended to those looking to get away from the crowds! Beautiful location high above the valley, yet easy to get to via an aerial tram that departs from the Niederrickenbach train station, a short hop from Lucerne. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent and vegetarian friendly. This is a great starting point for hikes in a gorgeous part of Switzerland - near the hotel, there's a 4 person tram to the Musenalp on the mountain above (https://www.musenalp-nw.ch/bahn/) and it's a 20-30 minute walk to the most unique chairlift I've even encountered (https://haldigrat.ch/). We only stayed two nights - next time we're planning on a longer stay!
